Cherished husband of Brenda, much loved father, father-in-law and grandfather of Bruce, Rachel, Freya and Isaac (Melbourne); Marty, Helen, Susannah and Zoe (Alexandra); Paula, Jason, Della, Tia and Kelsey Clark (Bannockburn); and Katrina, Tim, William, Penny and Josh Moor (Christchurch).

Loved eldest son of the late Bill and Pat Rendall; loved brother and brother-in-law of Duilia and Ron (Wellington); Peter and Robyn (Wellington); Gerardine and Joe (Wanganui); Alan and Louise Sewell (Christchurch); Roger (Joe) and Sue Sewell (Australia); and Carol Johnston (Ashburton). Loved uncle and great-uncle of Sarah, Simon, Hana and John; Lachlan, Kate, Emily and Zara; Christopher and Kate; Jamie; Matthew, Catherine and Oscar; Chloe; Amy, Kevin, Ryan and Toby; Heather and Alister; Alastair; James and Anna; Penny and Nigel.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Basilica, Macandrew Rd, South Dunedin, on Tuesday February 14, 2012 at 10.30am, followed by private cremation.

Rosary Monday February 13, 2012 at 7pm in St Patrick's Basilica.
