On February 8, 2012, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, aged 90 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Bert, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Carol and Brian Bird (Christchurch), and Peter (Christchurch), much loved Gran of Lyndon and Regan, dearly loved sister of Thelma Aitken.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 2.30 p.m. on Monday February 13 followed by private cremation.
