Passed away on the 18th May 2012 after an eight year illness with IPF.

Dearly loved husband of Yvonne for over forty years, much loved father of Devi, Nazir and Kiri and father-in-law of Jay and Octavia. Brother of Edwin (London), Lydia (USA), and Bevinda (Scotland).

Rey will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Cathedral, Rattray Street Dunedin, at 11 am on Wednesday May 23, 2012.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the NZ Institute for Cancer Research Trust (c/o-NZ Guardian Trust), or the Otago Community Hospice, would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the Mass.

Passed away 18/05/2012 after a long Illness. Much loved friend of "The Brophy
Family." All that sound advice will be sadly missed but such happy memories.

They say people come and go into your life for a reason. Rey so pleased you stayed to make our lives that much richer, you were our rock from time to time. Rest in Peace our dear friend - Paula, the late Tony, Vicki, Dean, Brooke, Kendra (Nelson) Kim, Jonathan, Leah (Melbourne).
