Much loved son of Betty and the late Allen (Shorty) Palmer, adored and respected brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Karen, Raymond, Lennie and Annette, Diane Palmer and Perry Empson. Extremely playful and patient uncle of Matthew, Joshua and Kristina; Corban; Lily and Lauren Empson.

A service celebrating Dave's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 11.00am on Saturday May 26, then to the Dunedin Cemetery, Emerson Street.
