Peacefully on August 31, 2012 at the Otago Community Hospice surrounded by his loving family; in his 75th year.

Loved husband of Colleen, loved father and father-in-law of Wendy and the late Richard Somerville, Peter, Donna and Steve, loved Grandad of Greer, Bridget, and Wilson; Kylie, and Michael; Matthew, and Mitchell.

"Gone fishing with Ritchie".

A service for Murray will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 2.30pm on Tuesday September 4, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Messages may be left in the tribute book below or sent to 42 Botha Street, Tainui, Dunedin 9013.

Our journey in the last two weeks has been an amazing life experience that Steve and I promised to share with you. We stayed with you day and night, always by your side to care for you until the end of your life as we know it. May you continue your journey safely. We will always be with you Dad, always in our hearts.
