On October 18, 2012 peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital; aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Peggy.

Much loved father and father-in-law of Graeme and Pauline (Taieri Mouth), Linda and Brian Muirhead (Queenstown). Much loved Papa of Kiri and Trev (Taieri Mouth), Vikki and Nigel Cameron (Fairlie), Nicholas (Dunedin); Chris and Naoko (Auckland), Regan and Kat (Australia). Much loved great-Papa of Cairo, Paris, Nicole, Tori, Jimmy, Ayla, Kohane, and the late Dylan.

A service for Murray will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1:00pm on Wednesday October 24, followed by private cremation.
