On October 24, 2012 in her 96th year, peacefully at Woodhaugh Rest Home.

Beloved wife of the late Rod, loved mother and mother-in-law of Ray and Geraldine, loved grandmother of Jacqueline and Stuart and great-grandmother of FloraJeanne. Sister of the late Ray Scott.

A private cremation has been held.

A memorial service of celebration for Betty's life is to be held in the St Andrew Street Church of Christ, corner St Andrew and Filleul Streets, Dunedin at 1.30pm on Wednesday October 31.
