Peacefully on January 23, 2013 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 86 years. Loved son of the late Irene and James. Loved brother of the late Mervyn Johnston and the late Lawrence Maloney. Loved Uncle Ashley of Helen Johnston, Bruce Johnston, Peta Maloney and their families and special friend of Elaine.

A service for Ashley will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12noon on Monday January 28, the funeral then leaving for the Dunedin Cemetery Emerson Street, Concord.
