On Thursday 7 February 2013 passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospital.

Loving husband to Chitra. Beloved, cherished and loving father to Dihan, Kishanie and Anusha. Loving father-in-law to Kent. Doting grandfather to Rocky. Loving brother to Ranjith. Dearly loved and respected uncle to Vinusha, Iresha, Naveesha, Pamela, Miura, Anu, Batti, Thushika, Kavinda, Nilanka, Ishara, Tunisha and Christopher.

All are welcome to attend a service to celebrate Herbert’s life, held in the Croft Centennial Chapel, 2 Osborne Place (off Queens Drive), Lower Hutt, on Sunday 10 February 2013 at 10am, before which a Buddhist blessing will be held at 9.30am. Thereafter, by cremation at which friends are welcome.
