On Thursday March 14, 2013, peacefully at Ross Home, surrounded with care; in her 96th year.

Dearly loved mother of Roger Dee (Darwin), Elaine Godman (Dunedin), and Annette Dee (Adelaide), and a loved and respected mother-in-law of Chris Tilley (Darwin), and Lloyd Godman (Melbourne). Adored Grandmother of Sean Dee (Adelaide), Amelia Dee (Perth); Stefan Godman (Dunedin), and Andrew Godman (Melbourne); Shannon Dee (Adelaide), and Jarrod Dee (Adelaide). Loved daughter of the late Bartholomew and Elsie Sullivan, loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Jean and Bram Lee; Gwen and Jim Parfitt, Vic and the late Nancy Sullivan, Wally Sullivan, Noeline and the late Jack Prattley, Peggy and the late Bernie Haar, loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews.

The family offer sincere thanks to all the staff of Thornbury House, Ward 3C Dunedin Hospital, and Ross Home who have provided such compassionate care for Rita.

A service to celebrate Rita's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Wednesday March 20, followed by private cremation.
