DICKSON, George

Passed away peacefully at Oxford Court Rest Home on July 6, 2013; in his 98th year.

Beloved husband of the late Frances, dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Ann and Tony Scott, and the late George Christison, (Oamaru), Jan Hellyer (Geraldine), Sheila and Barrie Lay. Much loved and adored grandad and Great grandad George of Linda, Paul, Katelyn and Emma Borrie (Papakaio) Shirley Christison and Luke and Joey Archer (Christchurch). Ken, Erin, Isabella and Scarlett Christison (Stokes Valley). Sarina, Aaron, Maia, Lachlan and Olive Dickson (Christchurch), Regan Hellyer and Leah World (Christchurch), Rebecca, Clint, Daniel and Blake Bailey (Cambridge), Craig, Niki, Jayden and Rhys Lay (Twizel), Steven, Lara, Arlo and Noah Tori-Lay (Melbourne). Dearly loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews in Scotland.

A service to celebrate George's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm 0n Wednesday July 10 followed by private cremation.
