On July 7, 2013, after a short illness; aged 71 years.

Loved elder daughter of the late Doris and Stan Rivers, much loved sister of Linley Rivers (Auckland), mother of Katrina Bassett (Wellington), beloved wife of the late David Frew, and step-mother to his children and their families.

Gaynor's family would like to express their thanks to Marne Street Hospital for the love and care shown to Gaynor during her time there.

A service to celebrate Gaynor's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 3.00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 10.
