On July 10, 2013 at Oxford Court Rest Home with family at her side; aged 76 years.

Loved wife of the late Bruce, loved mother and mother-in-law of Marion and the late Ian Sinclair, Gaynor and R J, Ray and the late Susan, the late Andrew, Diane and Tony Butterfield. Loved Nan, GG and Great Grandmother of all her grandchildren. Beloved daughter of the late Edna and Ernest Ellis, loved sister and sister-in-law of Jim and Tui and the late Isabelle, Valerie and the late Bob, Bernice and the late Gerald, Brian and Pat, Graham and Sue, Ellie and Gordon.

A service for Joan will be held in the Bill Fraser Lounge, 68 Macandrew Road, Dunedin at 1pm on Monday July 15 followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 21B Grove Street, St Kilda, Dunedin 9012
