On August 5, 2013, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family; aged 93 years.

Loving husband of Betty (Abby) for 67 years. Dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Evelyn Cooling (Canada), and Thelma Herman (Canada) Triana Taylor (Queensland), Theresa and Vince Johnson. Loved grandfather of Geordie, Lori and Joey; and Fred. Treasured Pop of Greg and Janine, Nathan, and Rebekah; Alannah, Renee, and Thomas and Rebecca, loved great grandad of Joseph, Mariah, and Rhys; Tynan, and Holly; Ellen, Tymone, Kiaan, and Shemeah; Maramataia, Jacob and Janet Rose and Gem. Dearly loved brother and uncle of all his family in Canada.

A service for Pete will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Friday August 9, followed by private cremation.
