On September 10, 2013, peacefully at home; in her 90th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Tom O'Connell of Seacliff, dearly loved mother of Daniel, Denis, Gerald, Eugene, Mary Ann, Colleen, Leo, and Joan, dearly loved mother-in-law of Jane, Heather, Pru, John, Tony, and Bruce and loved grandma of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. "Rest in peace."

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Holy Name Catholic Church, Great King Street, North Dunedin, at 1pm on Monday September 16, the funeral then leaving for the Waikouaiti Cemetery. No flowers by request.

Youngest daughter of the late Mary Ann (nee Devanney) and William Joseph Egan of Wrey's Bush, Southland. Sister of the late Pat, Frank, Tom and Mary. Sister-in-law of Mary and the late Floss, Ana, and Morris Scully. Daughter-in-law of Mary Ann (nee Reardon) and Daniel O'Connell of Seacliff. Sister-in-law of the late Jack, Kitty, Daniel, Molly, Aileen, Clyde Crequer, and Phil O'Reilly. Loving aunty of all her nieces and nephews.
