On December 14, 2013, after a brief illness at Dunedin Hospital, aged 82 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Jack, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Linda and the late Fred Koni, Phil and Chris, Ken and Betty, Brian and Karen, loved Nan of Jacqui and John, Aidan, Ryan and Antoinette, Brad and Kelly, Annalise and Dougal, Simon and Jen, Richard and Rachel, Georgie and Guy, Scott and Adriah, and Leigh and Alec, a proud and loving Great-Nan of her 11 Great-Grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Betty's life will be held in Iona Church, Mount Street, Port Chalmers at 1.00pm on Wednesday December 18.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Iona Church Restoration Appeal would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
