Dearly loved husband of the late Allwyn.

Loved father and father in law of Margaret and Russell Crawford-Warden(Mosgiel) and the late John Crawford; Heather and Alan Fowler (Wendon); Kate and Murray Smeaton; and John and Kaylene McBain (Vic, Australia).

Loved Grandad and Great Grandad of Heather and Richard, Caitlin and Brianna Lang; Karyn and Jason, Andrew and Reuben Whitehead; Maree and Gerald, Ben and Georgia Turnbull; David and Jan, Daniel and Luke Fowler; Stephen and Lesa Fowler; Emma and Steve and Zara Hamilton; Matthew and Tracy and Thomas Smeaton; the late Rhys McBain; Kylie and Andrew, Alex, Ellen and Stella Hargreaves; Nathan and Carlena McBain; Alissa and Gavin, Nicole and Cameron Kuch.

A service for Alex will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 10.0am on Saturday June 28, followed by private cremation.
