On July 9, 2014 at Birchleigh Hospital; aged 79 years.

Beloved wife of Doug for 59 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of David and Glenda (Melbourne), Mark and Krissy (Christchurch), Stephen and Liz (Dunedin) and loved and admired Nana of Simon, Anneliese; Giovanna, Ezra, Sarita; Nathaniel, Fenella and Lydia.

A service for Joan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10am on Saturday July 19 followed by private cremation.
