On August 20, 2014, peacefully at Oxford Court Rest Home; aged 88 years.
Loved husband of the late Verona, and the late Jean, loved father and father-in-law of Vivien and John Farquharson, Neville and Alison, and Suzanne and Paul, loved granddad of Sonia and Lyndon, Nathan and Kate, and Bradley and Chloe; Andrew and Kate, and Ben and Sam; and Linda, and Daniel, and loved great-granddad of Jasmyn.
Loved step-father of Grant, Wayne, Glenn, and their families.
A loved brother of Gerald and the late Jean Gillespie.
Special thanks to the staff of Oxford Court Rest Home for their care.
A service for Bert will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3.00pm on Tuesday August 26, followed by private cremation.
