On September 30, 2014, passed away peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by his family; aged 72 years. Loved husband of June, loved Dad and father-in-law of Nicola, the late Patrick, Theresa and Cyril, adored Grandad of Tia, Manawa, Cameron, and the late Anake.

A service for Phil will be held in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Magnetic Street, Port Chalmers at 1pm on Friday October 3, followed by burial at Port Chalmers Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
