LAY, Ernest Mark (Barney)

Passed away on November 19, 2014, at his home, surrounded by his loved ones; in his 86th year. Loving husband of Rae for 62 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Anne Marie (Auckland), Brent and Liz (Dunedin).

Loving Pop of Deanna, Christopher, Malcolm, Hamish, and Cameron. Great-grandad of Ethan. Loved brother of Jessie, Florence, Margaret, John, Jenifer and the late Ethel, Molly, and Doug.

A service to celebrate Barney’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10am on Saturday November 22, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
