CHARTRES, Josephine May (Jo, nee Burrows) - On Saturday December 20, 2014, peacefully at her home in Dunedin, surrounded by her loving family.

Loyal and beloved wife of the late Donald Chartres, of Te Anau Downs Station, loved sister of Dudley, and the late Trevor Burrows (New Plymouth). Much loved mother and Granny Jo of Sally and Jeremy Nicoll, Fiona, and Jack (Waitati); Wendy and Graeme Moginie, Amelia, and Michael (Dunedin); Peter Chartres and Frauke Munster, Matthew, and Josephine Ella (Te Anau Downs); Ruth and Harry Baltus, and William (Nelson).

Requiem Mass will be held to celebrate Jo’s life of adventure at St Joseph’s Cathedral, corner Smith and Rattray Streets, Dunedin at 11am on Wednesday December 24 followed by private cremation.
