JAMIESON, Ian George (Emeritus Professor) - On February 2, 2015 at the Otago Community Hospice; in his 58th year.

Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Frances Anderson, loved and respected step-father of Kris and Karla, Neil and Anna, Tim and Carla, treasured Poppa Ian of Zavier, Anika, Marco, and Ashleigh, adored son of Betty and the late Jack Jamieson, loved brother of Joan McDougall, Stuart and Minnie, Paul and Donna (all of Nova Scotia), loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

Loved and respected colleague of the staff and students of the Zoology Department.

A celebration of Ian’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 1pm on Saturday February 7, followed by private cremation.

In honour of Ian, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Otago Community Hospice and Orokonui Ecosanctuary. These may be left at the service or online.
