RUNYARD, Rona (nee Seaton): - On Tuesday February 17, 2015, suddenly at home after a long and courageous battle with illness; aged 84 years.

Much loved wife of the late Frank. Loved and loving mother and mother in law of Jean and Darryl Sims (Moa Creek), and Alison and Jim Holley, and the late John Hughes.

Loved and cherished grandmother of Tracey Sims and her partner Paris Keramidas (UK), Lois and Gary Hopper (Poolburn), Alex and Haley Hughes (Wallacetown), and Chris and Claire Hughes. Loved great grandmother of Cameron and Eva Hughes, Charlie Hopper, and Julius and Jesse Hughes. A very fond ‘Grandma Rona’ of Mike and Donna Holley, and Brodie, Liam and Mila.

Dearly loved sister of Hilda Ingle (Geraldine) and the late Dave Seaton, and loved step-sister of Wayne and the late Ewen Boutcher. Loved and loving sister in law, cousin, aunt and friend.

A service of thanksgiving for Rona’s life will be held in the Kaikorai Presbyterain Church, corner Taieri Road and Mellor Street at 1pm Friday February 20, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 25 Kaikorai Valley Road, Dunedin 9010 or below in Rona's tribute book.
