Cherished husband and best friend of Hilary, treasured father and father-in-law of Clem and Amy, Sophie and Ryan Priemus, Katie and Michael Walters, loved Poppa of Annabel; Olivia, and Imogen; and Archie, adored brother of Mary Cull, and Christine and Noel Johnston, and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Bernie will be held in Holy Name Catholic Church, 420 Great King Street, Dunedin at 12:30pm on Friday March 20 followed by private burial. Messages to 89A Lynn Street, Wakari, Dunedin 9010.
