SMITH, Jessie

On Thursday, October 5, 2006, at Dunedin, suddenly yet peacefully, aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Captain Lindsay Smith, dearly loved elder daughter of the late Neil and Jeannie Buchanan, much loved sister and sister in law of the late Stewart and Gwen; the late Duncan; the late Neil; the late John and Wanda; Nan and George Hogg and the late Ralph Miller.

The family would like to specially thank all the staff at Community First and Fulton Home for the care and attention they gave Jessie.

A service for Jessie will be held in St Marks Presbyterian Church, Pine Hill Road, Dunedin at 1.30pm followed by private cremation on Tuesday October 10.

We were so privileged to have Aunty J as an inspiration in our lives. She taught us to aim high and be strongly independent. The memories of "J "will sustain our whole family for many many years.
