BALLANTYNE, Iris Jane

On January 13, 2016 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 93 years.

Dearly loved wife for 70 years of Stewart, and loved mother and mother in law of Geoff and Mary Jo (Salt Lake City), Ann and Ron (Wellington), Lynne and Alan (Bay of Plenty), and Kaye and Graham (Dunedin), loved grandma of Aaron, Dustin, Rebecca, George, Simon, Arthur, and Michael, and loved great grandma of Noa, Eliza, Phoebe, Zennor, and Joseph.

Very special thanks to the wonderful staff of Ward 6C, Dunedin Hospital.

A service to celebrate Iris’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner of Anderson’s Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Saturday 16, followed by private cremation.

No flowers by request but donations to Save the Children would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
