HOLMES, Jean (Jeanie)

On February 11, 2016 peacefully at Mossbrae Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness; in her 86th year.

Dearly loved wife of Roy for 63 wonderful years, loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Janice and Jim Binnie, Robert and Michael (WA), Paul and Helen, Stephen and Isabella, Ann and Peter, and Rosemarie and Paul Bouman, much loved Nana and Great-Nana of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Much loved daughter of the late Jeannette and George Matthews, and loved sister of Murray.

Special thanks to the staff of Mossbrae Hospital and Dunedin Hospital for their wonderful care and support.

A service for Jeanie will be held in the Dignity Chapel, corner Middleton and Isadore Roads, at 11am, on Monday February 15 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the cancer society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 116A Main South Road, Green Island, Dunedin 9018.
