On February 26, 2016, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family; aged 72 years.

Much loved wife of Eddie for 52 years, dearly loved mum of Deborah, and Wayne, treasured nana of Cassandra-Joy, cherished sister and sister-in-law of Anne and the late Andy, Annette and the late Alex, Glenda and the late Lance, Mick and Marion, Steve and Jan, Roger and Helen Ludwig, Lindsay and Heather, Lilly and Willy McNeil, Lesley and the late Bruce, Tom and Jenny, Garney, Christine and Laurie McCormack, loved “auntie nana’ of Jamie and Eddie, loved aunt of her nieces and nephews.

A service for Doreen will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10am on Tuesday March 1, followed by private cremation.
