Peacefully passed away , on May 2, 2016, at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, Dunedin; in his 90th year.

Dearly loved and loving husband of Rosalie for over 60 years. Second child of the late Herbert John and Edith Blanche (nee Golding) Mehrtens. Much loved father and father-in-law of David and Christine, Richard and Jenny, and Sarah and Llew; and Granddad of Anna, Lucy, Benjamin, Samuel, Thomas, Josh and Riley;

A service for Geoffrey will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 12.30pm on Monday May 9, followed by a private cremation. Messages to P.O Box 5231, Moray Place, Dunedin 9058.
