On August 11, 2016, at Dunedin Hospital; aged 96 years.

Dearly beloved wife of the late Tom, loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of Bill and Chris, Trish, Larry and Liz, dearly loved Gran and Nan of Megan, Tim, Richard, and the late Christopher Cooney; James, Simon, and Katie Rogers, Michael, Greg, Rachel, and Laura Cooney and Great-gran of her great-grandchildren.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph's Catholic Church, (Little Sisters of the Poor), 295 Brockville Road, Dunedin at 10.30am on Wednesday August 17, followed by burial at Alexandra Cemetery at 3pm.

Rosary will be held in the Church at Little Sisters of the Poor at 4.30pm on Tuesday August 16.
