On August 14, 2016, peacefully at Birchleigh Rest Home; aged 99 years, 5 months.

Loved wife of the late Ted. Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Noeleen and Ian Hallett. Dearly loved and adored nanny of Brendan (Sydney), Dale and Ryan Bennett, great nanny to Ashley, and Caitlyn. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Doris and Doug Allcock (Waikouaiti), the late Ray Patterson (Waikouaiti), Jim and Joy Patterson (West Melton); the late Bessie and Russell Grubb (Waikouaiti), and loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Birchleigh Rest Home for all their care and support.

A service to celebrate Gladys’ life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3pm on Friday August 19, followed by private cremation.
