On Thursday November 23, 2006 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, in his 80th year.

Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Phil (Leslie Groves Hospital). Loved eldest son of the late Catherine (Kit) & Bert Searle (late of Hari Hari & Greymouth). Dearly loved stepfather and father-in-law of Margaret Nevin (Christchurch) Bill & Janet Collie (Dunedin). Much loved Grandad of David & Helen Nevin (Australia) Neil Smart (Australia), Kirsten & Jeremy Burdett (Brighton) Ricky & Kathy Collie (Dunedin) and Toni Nevin (Christchurch). Loved Great-Grandad of Georgia, Liam & Meg Nevin (Australia) and Toby Burdett (Brighton).

A service for Geoff will be held in Hope & Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1pm on Monday November 27, followed by private cremation.
