BENNETT, Clifford Ernest (Cliff)

On December 27, 2016, peacefully at Yvette Williams Retirement Village; aged 79 years.

Much loved second son of the late Sam and Thelma Bennett of Green Island. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ivan and Joan, Jim and Thelma, loved Uncle of Gareth, and Vaughan; Warren, and Katrina McLeod. Loved great uncle of his nieces and nephews. Cliff was a respected craftsman panel-beater formerly of Burnside, and a friend to many.

Special appreciation is expressed by the family to the staff of Ryman Healthcare, Dunedin Hospital and St John Ambulance for his care over the past three years.

A celebration of Cliff’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 12.30pm on Wednesday, January 4, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance, Dunedin would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
