On December 2, 2006, at Mossbrae Hospital, Mosgiel, aged 85 years.

Dearly beloved husband and companion of Nan, loved and respected stepfather and stepfather-in-law of Brian and Diane Miller, Lindsay and Liz Miller, Helen and Stephen Smith, dearly loved Grandad of Nigel and Gabbie, Roger and Charlotte, Anita and Chris; Greg and Vicky, Natalie and William, Hamish; Lincoln, Riley and Erin.

Our heartfelt thanks to this special man who stepped into a readymade family - always patient and helpful - with everyone he knew.

A service to celebrate George's life will be held in the Roslyn Presbyterian Church, Highgate, Dunedin, at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, followed by private cremation.
