- On March 12, 2017, peacefully at home in Dunedin,
surrounded by her loving family; aged 83 years.
Cherished and most dearly loved wife of of Dennis, wise and nurturing mother to Susan and Neil, Robin, Brett and Kate, loving second mother to Maurice and Yvonne, Rod and Michelle, Debbie and Wayne, and Jon and Chris. Attentive and supportive grandmother to Haley, Rose, Jordan, Callan, Shane, Leon, Talia, Joe, Jackson, Steven, Christopher, Ryan, Tyrell, Logan, and Joshua, proud great-grandmother to Hunter, Ryder, Shaya, Isla, and WIllow, dearly loved sister-in-law to Jennifer and Wal Wanrooy.

Flowers and messages to 18 Bangor Terrace, Kew, Dunedin 9012 or donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

- A service for Marie will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Thursday March 16, then leaving for the Dunedin Cemetery.
