Dearly loved husband of the late Helen. Much loved father and father-in-law of Lyn & the late Allen, Denis & Judith, Lindsay, Ian & Diane, Ross & Gill, and Dianne. Much loved Grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Noeline & Alex Stevenson (Blenheim), much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to all the doctors and nurses in wards 7A & 6B at Dunedin Hospital.

A service for Palmer will be held in Hope & Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11am on Wednesday December 13, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
