Unexpectedly but peacefully, at Dunedin Hospital on July 24, 2017.

Dearly loved and loving husband of the late Doreen, loved father and father-in-law of Lynette and David Young (Tapanui), Judy and Leigh Bamfield (Gold Coast), James and Kylie (Auckland), and Pam. Special friend of Sassy, and a treasured grandfather and great-grandfather of Nelson and Kristina, Oakland and Dustin (Waikoikoi), Joanna and Hamish, Georgia and Alexandra Butler (Melbourne); Kirsten and Tony Hopkins (Christchurch), and Lisa.

A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Friday July 28, followed by private cremation.
