On August 12, 2017, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, with family at his side; aged 64 years.

Dearly loved father of Brendan, Danny, and Kimberley, loved Grandad of Tayla, Ricco; Leila, and Cleo, loved brother of Philip, and Marshall, and dearly loved friend of Karen.

A service for John will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 3.00pm on Wednesday August 23, followed by private cremation.

A gathering at the Otago Underwater Club, corner Crammond and Corstorphine Road will follow from 5.00pm.
