On August 24, 2017, unexpectedly at her home following a long illness; aged 31 years.

A celebration of Kara’s life will be held in the Dunedin Crematorium Chapel, Tomahawk Road at 2.00pm on Thursday August 31.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Diabetes Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
