On October 30, 2017, peacefully at Yvette Williams Retirement Village, Dunedin; Aged 93 years; Loved son of the late Karl and Maude Kliem, loved brother of the late Robert, Dorothy, Gertrude, Winifred, and Louisa, a loved uncle of his nieces and nephews, a friend to many.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin, at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 4 followed by private cremation. No flowers by request.
