Rusbatch, Stanley Arthur (Stan)

On November 30, 2017 unexpectedly at Iona Home, Oamaru, in his 89th year.

Treasured and dearly beloved husband of Joy for 63 wonderful years, devoted and much loved father and father-in-law of Stephen and Julie Rusbatch, Judith Ward and Mike van der Sluys, Lindsey Rusbatch, Donna and Keith Allan, and the late Vicki Bisschops. Grandad to Hayley, Beth, Abby and Josh Rusbatch, Jeff, Nick and Jeena Ward, Tim, Josh and Matthew Allan, Reubyn, Bryn and Corbyn Bisschops and special great grandfather to his 14 treasured great grandchildren.

A kind, devoted and loving man, Stan will be sadly missed by all his family and many lifelong friends, especially his friends from the Oamaru Fire Service and the Masonic Lodge.

A service to celebrate Stan’s life will be held at the Oamaru Club, Severn Street, Oamaru on Monday 4 December at 1pm followed by interment at the Oamaru Lawn Cemetery.
