SIMPSON, Daphne Noelene (nee Orr)

On Saturday February 10, 2018, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at St Andrews Rest Home; aged 94 years.

Dearly loved wife for 68 years of the late Ian Simpson, devoted mother and mother-in-law of Kay and Terry Outram (Wanaka), Heather and John Frampton (Queenstown), Julie and Ross Notman (Dunedin), dearly loved Grandma of Shannon and Donna, Leighton and Keri, and the late Kezia; Monique, Margeaux and Chris; Danielle and Ankit, Iain and Jeena, cherished great-Grandma of Ciara, Kade, the late Jett, Hunter, Piper, Valerie, Kaian and Ezra.

Grateful thanks to Dr Nick Giblin and the staff of Broadway Medical and the staff of Frances Hodgkins and St Andrew’s Rest Homes.

Daphne’s funeral service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 12.30pm on Wednesday February 14, followed by private cremation.
