On March 23, 2018, peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice; aged 60 years.

Loved and loving husband of Jo, loved dad of Brett, and Megan, loved son of the late Bill and Zeita, loved brother and brother-in-law of Diane and Barbara, Kaye and Colin, loved son-in-law of Bob and the late Alison, loved brother-in-law of Steve and Jo, Louise, Amy and Sian, Bridget and Jeremy, and a greatly loved uncle, great uncle and great-great-uncle.

Special thanks to Dr Chris Jackson, The Cancer Society, the staff of Ward 8C and the Oncology Unit at Dunedin Hospital, St John Ambulance, and the Otago Community Hospice, and Dr Andy Stewart and the staff of Dunedin South Medical Centre.

A service to celebrate Grant’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12.30pm on Thursday March 29, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to The Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
