Kington, Lorraine Jill (Jill, nee Cardwell)

passed away peacefully on Thursday 24th May 2018 at Oamaru Hospital after a short illness,in her 76th year.

Dearly loved wife and soul mate of Melvyn for 54 years, loved mother of Gregory and Jo (Oamaru), Leanne and Lane Todd (Christchurch), loved and devoted Nana to Holly and Brad Evans (Christchurch) and Bayley Todd and Corin Anderson (Christchurch), loved sister of Bruce and Nicki Cardwell (Blenheim), and Susan Cardwell and Rod Holder (Tasmania), loved sister in law of Barry and Ilona Kington (Clevedon) and Ian and Wendy Kington (Christchurch), loved and devoted Aunty Jill of all her nieces and nephews.

The funeral for Jill will be held at the Whitestone Chapel, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru on Wednesday 30 May at 1.30pm followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to The Oamaru Order of St John would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
