On August 11, 2018, unexpectedly at his home; in his 81st year.

Loved, caring, and respected father of Grant and Sue, Brett, Leane and Paul Turner, Trena and Brendan, loved Grandad of Tom, Josie, Gabrielle, Lucius, and Joseph; Maysie, Jack, and Jonty; Molly, Liam, Ned, and Ollie, loved brother and brother-in-law of Sandra and Peter Chettleburgh, and a loved uncle of his nieces and nephews.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Holy Name Catholic Church, 420 Great King Street at 11.00am on Friday August 17, followed by private burial at Port Chalmers Cemetery. (Note this replaces the normal 8.30am mass time).

In lieu of flowers donations to the Orokonui Ecosanctuary would be appreciated and may be left at the Mass.
