On March 7, 2007, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 74 years.

Dearly loved wife and best friend of Keith, loved mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and Beth, Robyn and Nick Thomson (Christchurch), treasured nana of Angie, and Kimberley; Karl, and Jeremy and nan nan of Brandan.

A special thank you to the staff at Redroofs Retirement Home and of 8B Dunedin Hospital for their loving care and support.

A Service for Joan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Monday March 12, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
