On February 24, 2019, at Yvette Williams Retirement Village: aged 89 years.

Dearly loved wife of Bill, and the late Eric Birchall, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Stella (Auckland), Elaine and Gerard Thwaites (Christchurch), Christine and Brent (Ohope), loving grandma of Madeleine, Maria, Sarah, and Michael; Kyle, and Ruby, and great-grandmother of Sophie. Loved and remembered by Steve and Karen, Russell and Carol, Gaynor and the late Roy Maitland; Michael, Belinda and Mark, Lisa and Mike, and their families.

Special thanks to all the staff of Frances Hodgkins and Yvette Williams for their care of Rena.

A service to celebrate Rena’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3.00pm on Thursday February 28, followed by private cremation.
