ANDERSON, Stuart Bruce (Stu), formerly of Ida Valley, Poolburn.

Stu shot through far too soon at the age of 62 years, a few weeks before his beloved opening weekend of duck shooting.

He died on April 17,2019 in the arms of his loving wife and soulmate, Debbie, after an unfair illness he faced with courage, always surrounded in the love of his family and friends and the incredible staff of the Special Care Unit at Yvette Williams Retirement Village.

Much loved father, stepfather and father-in-law of Buddy, Emma, Sarah, Ben, Mark and Jess, Katie and Ludy, Bex and Beau, Becky and Tim, and the late Alan, devoted Grandad of Mitchell, Isaac, Toma, Grace, Oakley, Noah, Jackson, Bjorn, Dixie and No.10. Loved son of the late Thomas Anderson and Betty Bruce, loved brother and brother-in-law of Warren and Linley Anderson and uncle of Riley Anderson.

Loved son-in-law of Jan and the late Ian Roche, loved brother-in-law of Peter and Debbie Roche, Sue and Richard de Jong, Richard and Lynda Roche and loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews. Stu was very proud to be made Hannah’s godfather.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Neurological Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Stu was called away by a lone mallard duck, with great sadness we say ..., Fly safe.

A Celebration of Stu’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 3.00pm on Wednesday April 24, followed by private cremation.
