PATERSON, Nola

It is with great sadness that we inform you of Nola's passing at Dunedin Hospital on Saturday May 18, 2019; in her 90th year. 

Much loved wife of the late John Paterson and Supermum, mum-in-law and friend of Maree and late Ross Paterson (Whanganui), Lesley and the late Bruce Scoullar and partner Alan Barber, Ian and Serena (Cromwell), Rae and Wayne Chamberlain (Albert Town),  Liz and Tim Welsh (Christchurch), and Sally Bower (Australia) and much respected friend of their extended families.

Cherished Grandma and beloved GGNola of her great grandchildren, Brook and Leah Paterson, Collin, Spencer and Logan (Christchurch); Alanah and Dan Brown, Dellah and Ailie (Auckland); Blair and Ange Scoullar, Scarlett and Greta (Albert Town);  Karl and Tiana Scoullar, Charlie (Dunedin) Scott and Megan Paterson, Lucy and Benny (Albert Town); Alesha & Sam Lind, Max, Harry and Sophie (Dunedin); 
Janelle & Nick Wilson, Cameron and Jacob (Christchurch), Lauren and Jimmy Guilfoyle, Aiden and Ashley
(Australia ); Madi Chamberlain, (Switzerland) and Lyla Chamberlain (Albert Town); Tuscany Welsh (Auckland) and the late Baelee (Christchurch). 

Loved sister-in-law of Bruce Irving, and Harry Hunter, and the late Pat Hunter, Jean Irving, Wally and June Paterson, Doreen and Bevan Bougen, respected Auntie of all her nieces and nephews.  Special thanks to all the staff of Ward 6, Dunedin Hospital for their care of Mum.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Nola’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 12.30pm on Wednesday May 22. 

In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
